Vans proudly announces the launch of the United Through Skateboarding Collection 2.0, created in partnership with Atiba Jefferson, legendary photographer and cultural documentarian.

A tribute to the powerful connections forged through skateboarding, this collection reflects Atiba’s creative journey, from the streets to the studio, and the culture that has shaped his life and work. Known for capturing some of the most iconic skate images of all time, Atiba’s influence extends well beyond skateboarding, spanning music, fashion, art, and sport. He holds the record for the most covers photographed in SLAM Magazine history and co-directed Monochrome, ESPN's Emmy-nominated, Clio Award-winning documentary celebrating the Black experience in skateboarding.

The United Through Skateboarding Collection 2.0 features a curated range of skate footwear, apparel, and accessories, each piece infused with Atiba’s distinctive visual language. From some of his most iconic photographs to original custom logo artwork created by his longtime friend and Los Angeles based artist Lauren Halsey, the collection carries a deep sense of authenticity.

Art-directed by Atiba himself, the campaign features a diverse cast demonstrating skateboarding’s ability to transcend background and connect communities. Talent includes artist Lauren Halsey, musician Flea, and Vans Skate Team Rider Rowan Zorilla.

• AVE Rapid LX™: “Atiba Gold” color inspired by the Los Angeles Lakers, who his still shoots for today.
• Authentic 44™: “Atiba Pink” a pop of color hand-selected by Atiba for featuring Arisa Trew’s 540 at the last Vans Pool Party on the insole.
• Sk8-Hi™: Featuring a Geoff Rowley photo print across the exterior, following up on the Authentic released in 2025.
• Rowan Z3™: Celebrating the longtime bond between Atiba and Vans Skate Team Rider Rowan Zorilla, each pair features Rowan’s portrait on the shoebox and swing tag. Blue hue derived from Atiba and Rowan’s shared love for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
• Cargo Hoodie and Pant: Apparel set offered in two color ways; hoodie in Pink and Black, pant in Bay Leaf and Black with custom point and shoot camera pocket.
• Customized Apparel & Accessories: Personally selected by Atiba, the line includes skate-ready apparel with functional detailing, archival images, and never-before-seen moments from his expansive portfolio.
