The Era is Back
The return of the first skate shoe we ever made. Modernized with our latest skate tech.
Style VN000ECRDE2
The Era hit the streets 50 years ago. Designed by skate pioneers, it was our first shoe made for skateboarding. An evolved take on the Authentic the Era’s trusted silhouette and performance-focused upgrades—from the padded collar to the grippy rubber outsole—helped take skateboarding to the next level in the late ‘70s. Over the decades that followed, it remained one of our most sought-after styles. But now, the Era is out of the back catalog and back in the streets. Modernized with our latest skate tech, today’s Skate Era is reinforced and refined for the next generation
- The original skate shoe reengineered for modern performance
- Lace-up closure with metal eyelets
- Padded collar for support and comfort
- Internal tongue straps secure the tongue, preventing it from sliding during movement
- A molded heel counter provides structure support, improving stability and fit
- PopCush™ footbeds offer impact protection and reduce leg fatigue for extended skating
- DuraCap™ is a thin rubber underlay designed specifically for skateboarding, placed in key areas to protect against griptape wear
