Vans Refreshes the Old Skool 36 Souvenir
A Souvenir Worth Keeping
2026-06-23

Vans announces new iterations of the Premium Old Skool 36 Souvenir in fresh colorways and textures. This elevated take on the iconic Old Skool silhouette features a spray-painted upper, leather overlays, a multicolored tweed Sidestripe, and removable Vans-themed pins, creating a rich mix of materials with modern durability and all-day comfort.

This season, the Old Skool 36 Souvenir will be available in Asphalt, Faded Black, Oatmeal and Navy. The release comes off the heels of the recent and now sold-out styles of the Old Skool 36 Souvenir in Warm Brown and Burgundy. The Old Skool 36 Souvenir is a cultural token, a keepsake for self-expression and a style that continues to represent Vans’ Off The Wall mindset. The silhouette also reflects the brand’s Premium ethos and design — emphasizing modern comfort, elevated materials, and updated form, fit, and feeling of Vans classic models.

The Old Skool 36 Souvenir styles will retail for $125 USD and release across the Fall 2026 season.
The Vans Old Skool 36 Souvenir in Asphalt will drop June 25 at Vans.com and select Vans retail stores, with the Faded Black, Oatmeal and Navy colorways arriving in July and August 2026 across Vans.com and select Vans retail stores. The Vans Old Skool 36 Souvenir in Asphalt will be available to shop early through UNDFTD (US) exclusively beginning June 21.

The Souvenir Old Skool first debuted in Warm Brown in August, sparking buzz across the community. The sequel followed in September with a limited Burgundy release. The December reissue marked the next chapter in the Souvenir story.

Souvenir "Warm Brown"
The shoe showed up looking like nothing else: spray-painted canvas, leather hits, a tweed Sidestripe™, and a line of “Souvenir” Vans pins tagging along like they’d been collected over years of travel. It’s more like a one-off custom than something straight out of the box, and that was the point.
Vans has always been about remixing the classics. The Souvenir tapped that DIY spirit, twisting the Old Skool into something new without losing the roots.

Souvenir "Burgundy"
The sequel didn't switch up the formula, spray-painted canvas, tweed Sidestripe™, and those “Souvenir” pins are all still here. What changes is the tone. Drop two trades the warm earthy tones of the first drop for a deep wine upper that feels sharper, heavier, and built for fall. Where the original leaned into that well-traveled, sun-faded look, Burgundy brought a darker edge.
Collections Behind the Drop
Old Skool: The icon that started it all
At its core, the Souvenir is an Old Skool. The Sidestripe™ classic that’s been pushing culture since ’77.
Premium Collection: Classic DNA, elevated craft
The Souvenir also lives in the Premium Collection—where upgraded materials and refined details honor our origins while pushing icons forward.
