OTW by Vans proudly presents a collaboration with visionary photographer and cultural storyteller Atiba Jefferson. Reimagining the timeless Authentic silhouette, each shoe in the pair tells a different story, one featuring John Cardiel, the other Franz Lyons, showcasing the wide spectrum of Atiba’s influence across skateboarding and music. For this project, Vans printed every possible component of the shoe, down to the linings, as an overt expression of Atiba’s photography and artistic eye.
The partnership underscores Atiba’s unmistakable visual identity, brought to life through his iconic photography and an unwavering commitment to authenticity. From the streets that shaped his perspective to the studios where he continues to push culture forward, Atiba’s journey reflects a relentless pursuit of truth and creativity. His imagery has become a universal language, capturing not just moments, but movements.
