Go Skateboarding Day 2026

Every year, Go Skateboarding Day gives us that little extra push to get out and skate, and this year was no different. We went back to the Brooklyn Banks, pulling up to the newly reopened Small Banks for a session that brought the NYC skate community together.
Right away, things got going and the momentum never dipped. Vans team riders, locals and groms kept it moving from start to finish, stacking tricks, taking slams and going back for more, while John Cardiel and Ben Kadow kept the music going and the vibes high.

By the end of the day, it all came together into what Go Skateboarding Day is all about: a full day of skating, chaos and community, with the Small Banks fully alive yet again.
Another Go Skateboarding Day is officially in the books. Thanks to everyone who came out and made it what it was. Special thanks to Vans, VF Foundation, Steve Rodriguez, Gotham Parks and The Skatepark Project for restoring the Brooklyn Banks and helping bring everyone together.
