Did Vans discontinue ComfyCush?

ComfyCush has been phased out of the Classic lineup but remains available in the Cruze and Lowland models. For the Comfortable Classics, consider PopCush in our Skate Shoes, which offers a firmer feel with enhanced impact protection and durability. If you prefer softer comfort, try Sola Foam ADC (All Day Comfort) in our Premium line for a more cushioned, all-day feel.

Yes, Vans shoes are known for being comfortable, especially with the inclusion of their specialized cushioning technologies like PopCush, UltraCush, Sola Foam ADC, and ComfyCush. These innovations offer varying levels of comfort—from lightweight cushioning and flexibility for everyday wear to advanced impact protection and support for intense skating sessions—making Vans a versatile choice no matter your activity level.

Can I use my custom orthotics with my Vans?

Yes, many Vans models are compatible with custom orthotics! Vans shoes featuring removable insoles are particularly well-suited for users who want to replace the insole with their own for added comfort, arch support, or specific orthotic needs.

Most removable insoles are easy to identify by their branded markings such as ComfyCush, UltraCush, or PopCush, which indicate Vans’ line of drop-in footbeds. The SolaFoam ADC (All Day Comfort) footbed, exclusive to Premium Classics, is also removable but does not feature branded markings.
