These sizes are a step up from little kids sizes and are designed to accommodate growing feet as children transition into their teenage years. This category includes shoes for both boys and girls, often labeled as " Big Kid" sizes in some brands.

What's the difference between "Children" and "Youth" sizes?

"Children" or "C" sizes are designed for younger kids, typically from infancy up to around age 8, with sizes ranging from 1C to 13.5C. In contrast, "Youth" or "Y" sizes are for older kids, usually aged 8-13, and range from 1Y to 7Y, bridging the gap between child and adult shoe sizes.
