Vans and Slam Jam Unveil Act of Disagreement Pt.2

Vans and Slam Jam reunite for the second chapter of Act of Disagreement. The 12-piece collection channels the nostalgia, angst and individuality of the 2000s, celebrating the mindset that shaped a generation and continues to inspire the next. Following the first drop in October last year, the Act of Disagreement series serves as a platform for youth culture, exploring the themes of defiance, self-expression and creative independence that have long defined Vans.

Captured by award-winning Lithuanian director Saulė Bliuvaitė, the accompanying campaign for the second drop brings these themes to life through intimate portrayals of friendship, rebellion and the quiet moments that exist within everyday chaos.

At the heart of the collection is a comprehensive apparel offering that embodies the raw, lived-in spirit of Act of Disagreement. Vintage-inspired washes, oversized silhouettes and distressed finishes run throughout outerwear, denim and jersey essentials. Highlights include the Distressed Double Knee workwear-inspired pant, loose-fit denim featuring custom barbed-wire detailing, and an oversized zip-up hoodie finished with signature cross-shaped zippers. Graphic T-shirts and long-sleeve styles feature embroidered, printed and lasered artwork, checkerboard motifs and BMX-inspired references, blending elements of skate, street and youth culture into a modern uniform for self-expression.

Supporting the apparel offering, the LX Classic Slip-On 98 translates the collection’s worn-in aesthetic through distressed canvas uppers, printed sidewalls and an Act of Disagreement-branded sockliner. 

Accessories complete the collection with a three-pack of checkerboard jacquard crew socks and a heavyweight twill six-panel cap featuring barbed wire embroidery, distressed detailing and custom Vans and Slam Jam branding, extending the collection’s distinctive visual identity across everyday essentials.
