Vans introduces Off The Wall, a global campaign centered on the Authentic and the people who have always shaped its meaning. More than a slogan, Off The Wall is a worldview, rooted in individuality and creative defiance.

Off The Wall reflects how Vans moves through culture: how it creates, how it connects, and how it evolves. Each individual featured embodies that mindset, completely unique, yet hardwired to create their own noise. Builders and breakers. Originals and outsiders. People who don’t wait for permission to belong because they’re already creating culture now.

The result is a celebration of those who stand apart, and the shoe that has always moved with them.

The Authentic is where it all started.

Born in 1966 as a quiet, unassuming deck shoe, it was quickly claimed by the loudest kids on the block, skateboarders. Emerging from California surf culture, the Authentic found its purpose on the pavement and became a foundation for self-expression.

Over the decades, that skate shoe evolved into a global icon. Worn by noisemakers. Artists and originals. Creators and innovators. Misfits and malcontents. A shoe for those who never wait for permission to belong.

For sixty years, it has been worn by those who live Off The Wall, a celebration of individuality, creativity, and refusal to blend in. It has always belonged to the next generation.

2026 marks a significant year for Vans and the Authentic, as both celebrate six decades of cultural impact shaped by the people who wear it.

The campaign features an epic collective of skateboarders, artists, and cultural innovators, captured through the lens of photographer Rosie Marks, whose work amplifies Vans’ Off The Wall spirit, including:

The Vans Off The Wall Authentic pack will be available beginning Thursday, March 12 across Vans retail locations, Vans.com and select wholesale partners. Additional colorways will drop on Thursday, April 2.
