Worn Loud Since 1966
A premium take on our most iconic silhouette.
Style VN000EBNBX9
The Authentic is where it all began in 1966—a quiet deck shoe claimed by the loudest kids on the block: skateboarders. Born from California surf culture, it gave Vans its purpose and over time became a global icon worn by the noisemakers—artists, innovators, misfits, and malcontents shaping culture instead of asking to belong. This premium build stays true to those roots while stepping things up with an elevated upper, refined fit, and a cushioned insole for lasting comfort and a softer step. A timeless original, now with a new level of wearability.
- Heritage low top shoes
- Cotton lace and metal eyelets
- Higher sidewall with gloss finish
- Foxing tape inspired by original 90's Osnaburg reinforced outsoles
- Upgraded footbed and refined construction combine for a more seamless fit
- Sola Foam ADC (All-Day Comfort) insole for soft and durable cushioning, it is made using at least 30% biobased PU foam partially derived from plants and it is USDA Certified Biobased
- Signature waffle outsole pattern for reliable grip since '66
- Vulcanized build for the original look and feel
- Canvas upper for a light but durable finish
