What makes a Vans Signature a Signature? 

Vans Signature Skate Shoes are collaborations with pro skaters. The first ever Signature shoe is now best known as the Half Cab. Originally the Caballero, skaters cut the collar of the shoe to improve their flexibility and control. Since then, Vans has released Signature Shoes with some of the most influential figures in skating, incorporating their design ideas and skating preferences into the final shoe. So far, Vans has released signatures with Gilbert Crockett, Lizzie Armanto, Kyle Walker, and more.  

What’s the difference between Cupsole and Vulcanized?

Cupsoles are constructed with a single piece of rubber that cups the upper part of the shoe, providing more support and durability, ideal for impact-heavy skating. Vulcanized soles, on the other hand, are thinner and more flexible, offering superior board feel and grip, making them perfect for technical tricks and precise movements.
