Era

Launched in 1976 as Style 95, the Vans Era was designed by skate legends Tony Alva and Stacy Peralta. With a padded collar and fresh color combos, it quickly became the go-to shoe for skaters. It was also the first to rep the iconic Off The Wall heel tab, cementing its place in Vans history.

Old Skool

Dropping in 1977 as Vans Style 36, the Old Skool was the first to rock the now-famous Vans Sidestripe—what started as a random doodle by Paul Van Doren turned into our signature mark. Classic Slip-On

Sk8-Hi

How to clean classic Vans?

How you clean your Vans depends on the materials. For canvas shoes, you can throw them in the washing machine on a gentle, cold cycle. Just be sure to skip the dryer and let them air dry. For leather or synthetic leather Vans, wipe them down with a damp cloth. If they’re really dirty, add a little mild soap to the mix, but avoid soaking them.
