Vans Pro Skate Spotlights AVE’s Rapidweld Pro Lite for Holiday
As Thrasher Magazine’s 2015 Skater of the Year, Vans global team rider Anthony Van Engelen remains one of the most influential and respected pro skaters in the industry. Part of the Vans team for well over a decade, AVE has lent his critical performance feedback across multiple signature pro models, a signature Vans apparel collection, in addition to owning the defining closing part in Vans’ first skateboarding film, Propeller.
It’s no surpise that this holiday, Vans is spotlighting one of AVE’s signature pro models, the AV Rapidweld Pro Lite. The AV Rapidweld Pro Lite offers an advanced stitchless upper construction, providing a more durable and flexible panel that eliminates seam bursts and prolongs the life of the shoe overall. The AV Rapidweld Pro Lite achieves long lasting durability while still reducing the weight of the shoe. Utilizing Vans’ polyurethane-based Ultracush HD sockliner to keep the foot close to the board, the construction won’t pack out over time—providing the highest level of impact cushioning for which Vans is known. To complete the ultralight masterpiece, the AV Rapidweld Pro Lite employs Vans’ Duracap reinforced uppers, and Vans’ iconic original Waffle outsole.
The AV Rapidweld Pro Lite holiday collection is available now in two brand new seasonal colors for holiday.
