The Old Skool was our first footwear design to showcase the famous Vans Sidestripe—starting out as a simple sketch by our founder Paul Van Doren in 1977, this low-top has since made a name for itself in the skate, music, and fashion scenes. From 90s street skaters and punks to current hip hop and fashion legends, the Old Skool has consistently been the go-to shoe for creatives who do things their own way. This version features a two-tone retro design so you can express your personality through a colourway that's uniquely you. With our Premium range, we're introducing exclusive new textures and colourways for a perfect symbiosis of form and function. With their woven uppers, we've reproduced the structure of our classic Old Skool, while incorporating unmistakable flashes of Vans identity such as a houndstooth version of our Checkerboard™ print, our heritage Sidestripe™ and rubber "Off The Wall" heel tab.
