The Old Skool was our first footwear design to showcase the famous Vans Sidestripe—starting out as a simple sketch by our founder Paul Van Doren in 1977, this low-top has since made a name for itself in the skate, music, and fashion scenes. From 90s street skaters and punks to current hip hop and fashion legends, the Old Skool has consistently been the go-to shoe for creatives who do things their own way. This design is finished off with Checkerboard laces for an extra dose of Vans identity, with matching inner collars to complete the look.
