Vans x Proenza Schouler
2024-05-29

Influenced by the worlds of art and design, Proenza Schouler blends with Vans’ profound heritage in skateboarding to create an interpretation of the Classic Slip-On. The Vans x Proenza Schouler Puffy Slip-On–a reinvention of the iconic ‘70s silhouette–experiments with exaggerated proportions and fine leather materials exhibiting wearable luxury and modern craftsmanship.
“We are honored to be collaborating with Vans to reinterpret their iconic Slip-On silhouette using Proenza Schouler brand codes,” says Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, Creative Directors and Co-Founders of Proenza Schouler. “A shared appreciation for strong design and fine craftsmanship informed the project from beginning to end. We couldn’t be more excited to finally share this project with all of you today.

The campaign was shot by Alessio Bolzoni and styled by Thistle Brown, and contrasts the soft texture of the Slip-On with urban elements of New York. Available in three colorways, ecru, black and resin, the Slip-On includes a custom Proenza Schouler footbed and sleek glossed sidewalls.
The Vans x Proenza Schouler Puffy Slip-On retails for €200 and is available now in ecru and black on vans.eu and proenzaschouler.com. The Vans x Proenza Schouler Puffy Slip-On in resin will be available exclusively at proenzaschouler.com and the Proenza Schouler Flagship Store at 121 Greene Street in New York.
