Hot off the presses, Vault by Vans partners with Brooklyn-based LQQK Studio, a screen-printing and design service collection with deep roots in art, fashion, skate and street culture. An eclectic mix between throwback style and translucent color themes, the new LQQK Studio project highlights a full range of apparel and footwear, available at select accounts this spring.
Founded by NYC creative Alex Dondero, along with Paul Bryant, Max Feuer, Martin Davis and Joe Garvey, LQQK Studio collaborates with a rotating cast of contributors that remain at the forefront of creative expression. Akin to Vans’ most cherished limited-run collections, LQQK Studio’s distinctive clothing line quickly became a cult following since 2011, catching the attention of New York’s best style purveyors, music lovers and streetwear aficionados.
For this special collaboration, Vault by Vans designers and LQQK Studio dug through the Vans archives to reintroduce the Epoch Sport LX in three colorways including black, cream and multi-colored, all featured on a striking translucent gum outsole. The Authentic One-Piece LX in black, purple and cream hairy suede colorways showcases the rare yet iconic flying “V” logo on the quarter panel in a contrasting white embroidery. In apparel, Vault by Vans and LQQK Studio introduce two short-sleeved crew tees in an all-over checkerboard jacquard, a black polo shirt with monochromic sleeve detailing, black track shorts, two six-panel hats and a semi-opaque coaches jacket.
The Vault by Vans x LQQK Studio collection retails from $110 to $175 and launches globally on April 21, 2018 at select Vault accounts. Learn more about this special project at Vans Vault.
