Buty Slip-On

Slip-on trainers are a great choice for all-day wear as they don't have laces to cause pressure points across the top of your foot. This smooth, unrestricted fit flexes naturally with every step. Wear them with no-show socks for maximum comfort and to help manage sweat and prevent slipping.

Yes, our laceless slip-on shoes are perfect for casual skateboarding. Many skaters love these styles, like our Skate Slip-On, for their rugged canvas uppers and grippy rubber waffle outsoles. While lace-up shoes offer more ankle support for heavy, technical tricks, slip-ons are ideal for casual cruising and flat-ground sessions.

Your slip-ons should feel pleasantly snug when you first put them on, with your heel firmly locked in place so it doesn't slip up and down as you walk. Don't worry if they feel a little tight across the top, as the sturdy canvas and elastic side panels will gently stretch and mould to the shape of your foot. If you need a little help breaking in your Vans, follow our guide.

To keep your white canvas slip-ons looking fresh, skip the washing machine. Start with a solution of warm water and a few drops of dish soap. Use a soft brush to gently scrub any stains, wipe them clean with a damp cloth and let them air dry away from direct sunlight to prevent the canvas from yellowing. Yes, you can wear slip-on trainers without socks, but we recommend wearing socks to maximise the lifespan of the shoes and maintain good foot hygiene. If you’re wearing slip-ons for short periods, it’s fine to go without socks. But if it’s warm weather or you’re doing anything active, sweat can build up, making them feel slippery and sticky. We recommend pairing your slip-ons with hidden, no-show socks.
