OVERVIEW

On a sunny autumn day in 1970, in a vacant lot in Long Beach CA, 14-year-old Scot Breithaupt—founder of SE Racing—organized the first-ever BMX race. Since then, BMX has exploded, but SE Bikes has always remained at the forefront, combining boundary-breaking bikes with a love of the sport that shows up in everything they do.

Honoring a legacy that is both innovative and timeless, the Vans x SE Bikes Sk8-Hi Reissue pays homage to Vans’ iconic high top shoe and the PK Ripper, the signature bike of SE team rider Perry Kramer. With over 40 years of production, the PK Ripper is not only the longest running bike in the sport, but also the most legendary BMX bike of all time, and its iconic design has been scaled up into the most popular bike in Bike Life: the Big Ripper.

The Vans x SE Bikes Sk8-Hi Reissue also features sturdy suede and checkerboard textile uppers, supportive padded collars, re-enforced toe caps, and signature rubber waffle outsoles.
