Orders can be placed by first locating the Vans product/s that you would like to purchase. Once you have found what you would like to buy, be sure to select the appropriate product attributes then select Add to Cart. Once in the cart just follow the checkout process by completing all mandatory fields and a confirmation page will provide you with an order number.
We accept orders online 24 hours-a-day, seven (7) days a week. Orders entered on Vans.ca will then be processed (pending credit card approval) and shipped out from our Brampton distribution center.
Orders placed Monday-Friday before 12 PM EST will begin processing that day, excluding holidays, and will ship within 48 hours pending availability and credit verification. All orders placed after 12 PM EST will begin processing the next business day, and ship within 48 hours. Orders placed on Friday after 12 PM EST will begin processing on the following Monday. If the merchandise selected is not currently available or if additional identification is needed for credit verification, Vans Customer Service will contact you.
We only ship orders within Canada, however we do accept international credits cards for payment. If you are using an international credit card, please be sure to enter the address where your billing statements are received in the billing address fields. You MUST provide a Canadian address for shipping purposes.
When you place an order your bank statement will display both a pre-authorization and the final sale. The pre-authorization hold will drop off within a couple days, depending on the policies of your bank. This hold allows us to verify that funds are available and enables us to proceed with processing your order. show less
We begin processing your order immediately upon receipt. For this reason we will not be able to cancel or change your order once you have submitted it to us. If you decide you do not want the merchandise you have purchased, you can return the merchandise to a Vans company owned retail store.
At this time our distribution center is not set up to do exchanges. Once we receive the package we will issue a credit to your account and then you can place a new order. Due to high volume and dynamic inventory fluctuations, we do not currently offer exchanges through Vans.ca
If you need to exchange an item for size or color, the most efficient method is for you to return the original item explained under our Return policy, and then place a new order. This will guarantee that you get the product you want as quickly as possible.
You may exchange product at one of our Vans company owned retail stores by following the instructions below.
Exchanges to a Vans Retail Store:
1. Vans.ca orders can only be returned to a Vans company owned retail store.
2. Use the Store Locator to find the Vans company owned retail store nearest you with a company name listed as "VANS - store name".
3. Bring your product, original packaging, and your Return Form. We will gladly process your return for credit or exchange.
Credit Card Refunds:
All returns will be refunded to the original credit card that was used for your purchase. Please allow 14 to 18 days for us to process the credit to your card. During peak times, processing may take longer than normal. It may take up to two (2) or three (3) billing cycles for your credit to appear on your statement.
Refunds on Shipping Charges:
Refunds are processed based on applicable product and tax charges. Original shipping charges are not refunded. If we made a mistake and sent you the wrong order, or if you received damaged or problem items, we will refund shipping charges.
You may return unworn and unwashed merchandise back to us within 30 days of receipt for a refund to the original form of payment. Refunds are processed based on applicable product and tax charges. Original shipping charges are not refunded.
Returns without the original receipt must reference the order number, which you may reprint from the order status page on Vans.ca if you were sign in prior to placing the order or from the order confirmation email. For customer convenience, all domestic orders are shipped with a prepaid return shipping label:
Returns using the prepaid shipping label:
1. Attach the prepaid return label to the outside of the return package. The prepaid label can be found inside your original shipping package.
2. Detach the completed RETURN FORM and place it inside the return package. Save the top portion for your records. Pack and seal the product securely.
3. The return item(s) should be dropped off at the shipping carrier location that delivered the package.
4. A refund, excluding shipping charges, will be issued on unworn merchandise within 30 business days. A refund will be issued to the original form of payment.
Returns to a VANS Retail Store:
1. Find a VANS retail store nearest you using the store locator link at the top of the page on Vans.ca.
2. Returns and exchanges can ONLY be done at VANS retail stores, not with a 3rd party or reseller.
3. Bring in your product with original packing and your Vans.ca Order Receipt.
Returns by Mail for Custom Shoes:
1. To return custom shoes, first call Vans customer service at 877-267-5889 to request a refund. Please note, all Customs products with your personalized submissions are made just for you and may not be returned.
2. All Vans Customs orders must be returned with the original paperwork
3. All items must be returned, unused, within 30 days of receipt. Returns beyond 30 days will not be accepted.
4. On the documentation with the picture of your shoe design, please indicate the reason for returning; a gift, wrong item shipped, wrong color, etc.
5. Pack and seal your return securely ( in the original package if possible) and include all original paper work. Please mail your return to:

Swimwear & Intimate Apparel:
Swimwear and intimate apparel must be in new, never-worn condition with all original tags attached. If applicable, any protective inner lining must be intact to be accepted for return. Swimsuits or intimate apparel that has been worn may not be returned.

Custom Shoe Orders:
Custom shoe orders are not eligible for shipment to a P.O. Box or FPO/APO address. Custom orders are not eligible for expedited delivery.
Refused Shipments: If you decide to refuse any shipments from Vans.ca, you are responsible for the original shipping charges to you, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package (on both the original and return shipments), and the cost of returning the package to Vans.
Legal title to purchased product transfers to the buyer at point of shipment.
Items that are in stock and are being shipped via standard service (excluding Customs) will ship in 1 to 2 business days from the time the order is placed. Items that are in stock and are being shipped via Express will ship the same day if the order is placed by 12 PM EST. If it is placed after 12 PM EST, it will ship the next business day.
Custom shoes are delivered in 2-3 weeks from the date of purchase. For orders with Upload Your Art, it is 3-4 weeks from the date of purchase. Please note, shipping and processing timeframes may vary during the holidays. Please review the shipping page during checkout for any time frame updates.

Our shoes are sized according to the US standard, as measured on a Brannock device (that cold metal thing that you used to stick your foot in when you were growing up). There is a good chance that you know your shoe size. If you do not, we suggest that you have your foot measured at one of our VANS Retail Stores nearest to you.
Please note, by design, our high performance skate shoes tend to fit snug so you may want to select a half size larger. show less

• Vans Shoe Eraser - Cleans suedes, nubucks, and fabrics of dirt, lint, hair, etc. Inside the self-contained storage box, you'll find a bar that you can use like an eraser and a sponge to remove surface dirt.
• Vans Leather Cleaner - For use on suede, nubuck, canvas and rough-out type items (do NOT use on smooth leathers). This product comes complete with a "brush-cap" to assist with gently loosening and removing soil.
• Vans Water & Stain Shield - This product is best used to treat your clean, dry surfaces (do NOT use on patent leather or vinyl). When properly applied, this will provide a barrier against soil and moisture. Excellent for leather, suede, nubuck, cotton, canvas, nylon, polyester & similar materials.

The size conversion from women's to men's shoes is 1.5 sizes down. For example, if you were a size 8 in women's, you'd be a size 6.5 in men's. If you fall below 6.5, you would fit into the "Boys" category. Remember, our boys' sizes start from 3.5 to 6 and our men's sizes are from 6.5 to 13 (14, 15, and 16 in some styles). show less
