Together As Ourselves

This year for Pride, Vans collaborated with Queer artists Tyris Winter and Kae Tempest to design a collection inspired by the diverse individuals in the Queer community. Born an artist, aspiring to legend, Tyris embodies the “Off The Wall” spirit of Vans through their poetry, drawing, painting, and fashion. They encourage others to be vulnerable and uplift themselves through creative expression, inspiring the many queer youth who have dreams beyond the binaries and boundaries they are raised with. Blurring the lines between art, poetry, and fashion, Tyris’s Old Skool reminds us to celebrate our shared individuality and the vulnerability that makes us distinctly human.

In celebration of Pride, Vans is donating a total of $200,000 from the Checkerboard Fund at Tides Foundation to organizations committed to advocating for and providing the space, access and community needed to uplift the LBGTQ+ community.
