Alex Sorgente is The Van Doren Invitational Canada Champion

A new saga in Canadian skate history unfolded at the Van Doren Invitational live from the Hastings Bowl in Vancouver, BC as over 30 of the world's finest bowl riders battled it out over 2 amazing days of shredding at one of the most historical skate spots in Canada for $75,000 in cash prize.

Sixteen-year-old Alex Sorgente claimed first place, winning his first ever Van Doren Invitational while standing alongside Santa Cruz native Raven Tershay, and Brad McClain.
