Vault by Vans TH Sk8-Mid Skool LX

This March, designer and artist Taka Hayashi brings forth the latest two-piece installment of his signature TH Sk8-Mid Skool LX under Vans’ premium label, Vault by Vans. By re-imagining the classic Vans silhouette, the Mid Skool, Taka Hayashi has evolved the mid-top form into a deluxe footwear piece. Spring 2015 of Vault by Vans presents the TH Sk8-Mid Skool LX in two new colorways that pay homage to Vans’ coveted checkerboard pattern. 

The premier black leather color-up expresses the celebrated motif as a print across its split side panels while the brick suede variation exhibits intricate woven detailing as a nod to Vans’ design heritage. Embossed midsole accents, vulcanized waffle outsole construction and Taka Hayashi branding put the finishing touches on each edition of the TH Sk8-Mid Skool LX.
