VANS SURF TAKES ON A NEW JOURNEY WITH ECO THEORY COLLECTION

Vans proudly unveils our latest Eco Theory collection, representing the first step in a new journey toward thoughtfully sourced materials and ethical practices that minimize harm to the ecosystem.

The ocean is one of our most important resources. It’s not lost on eco-minded surfers like Vans Surf family members Leila Hurst and Dane Gudauskas that the need to protect it, and all our precious resources, is becoming more crucial by the day.

With Vans Eco Theory collection, this principle was applied to several Classic Vans silhouettes, including the Sk8-Lo Reissue in jungle green, Sk8-Hi Decon SF in jungle green and purple dove, Slip-On SF in Checkerboard/purple dove, and Style 36 Decon in purple dove.

Leading the collection, the Sk8-Lo Reissue gets a refresh with a natural cork footbed topsheet and our organic cotton canvas, which carry across the entire collection.

The 100% cotton upper is made with cotton fibers that are organically grown according to recognized farm level certification standards that aim to support healthy soils, habitats, and workers, and finished with jute laces.

Vans all-new rubber compound is sourced from ethical and sustainable tree farms and maintain the grip and durability for which Vans is known.

The whole package is held together with water-based glues and colored with water-based inks.
