Vans’ Classic Silhouette Gets A Technical, Purpose-Driven Update With The Mod Slip-On.

Always at the forefront of what’s next, Vans’ Dylan Graves ushers in utilitarian-meets-urban style.

Vans, the original action sports footwear and apparel brand, is unveiling the latest update to the Mod Slip-On, a modern take on the classic slip-on silhouette, with help from Vans Surf Team rider and Weird Waves host Dylan Graves.

The Mod Slip-On is part of the new, utilitarian-meets-urban 66 Supply Collection for fall and leads with a 66 Supply/grape leaf hero colorway. The shoe leverages RapidWeld – a stitchless construction for improved fit and feel with a no-sew welded upper — and rubber details to add structure without weight, perfect for any mission, small or beast-like, that Dylan embarks upon. A minimal-yet-supportive upper maintains shape while eliminating bulk.

Utilizing an UltimateWaffle outsole, the Mod Slip-On features a full rubber cup-sole with engineered thickness that enables greater flexibility while maintaining optimal traction and durability. Transparent, tinted rubber highlights the UltimateWaffle midsole and internal shank construction, offering uncompromising support and impact cushioning. In addition to the hero colorway, the Mod Slip-On is available in dress blues/clear and marshmallow/clear.

At his roots, Dylan Graves is endlessly upbeat and constantly giving 100% energy to the objective at hand, whether that be a novelty wave, surfboard art, or a road trip in his beloved van, The SS YOLO – nothing can stop D from a good time.
