Vans OTW Steelhead Collection

For fall 2014, the Vans OTW Collection updates established styles and introduce new models in an array of sophisticated silhouettes that speak to OTW’s eclectic sense of style. The Vans OTW Steelhead Collection follows on the heels of OTW’s Trout pack and blends progressive design with athletic styling in a wearable construction. Infused with a rugged outdoors ethos, this Americana-driven OTW collection relies on premium materializations and subtle, but impactful colors inspired equally by hillside trail and urban jungle. 

For the Vans OTW Steelhead Collection, the Steelhead Ludlow marries full grain leather to herringbone twill on contrasting vamp and sidewalls combined with the eponymous repeat print on the interior, while the Prelow drapes its athletic shape entirely in the steelhead trout all-over print on heavy washed canvas and a sleek charcoal exterior. The mid-top Bedford is all herringbone twill with leather detailing on the tongue, while the high-top Alomar is clad in full grain leather collar to bottom with subtle leather elements, both lined with the collection’s characteristic trout print interior. 

The premium material palette of this five-piece assortment continues on in the sturdy construction of the full grain leather Breton Boot SE and its trout print inside to complete an inspired and versatile capsule collection.

The Steelhead Collection colorways of the Alomar, Bedford, Ludlow and Prelow are available now online and at your Vans OTW retailers while the Breton Boot SE arrives later this season. To launch the collection, Vans teamed up with award-winning photographer Brian Cross to create the OTW Fall 2014 Lookbook and paired up with WIREWAX to present the pack in an innovative, shoppable video piece.
