VANS SKATEBOARDING PRESENTS JUSTIN HENRY'S GAMETIME
Vans Skateboarding Presents: Justin Henry's GAMETIME | Skate | VANS
Vans proudly presents a fresh look inside the life of skate team rider Justin Henry on the heels of turning pro with Quasi Skateboards.
A follow up to Justin’s short biographical piece in 2020, this newly created clip came to life under the creative direction of Quasi Skateboards. Hailing from Columbus, Ohio, Justin is all about giving back to his community. Quasi’s unique approach to announcing Justin’s pro status with a billboard in his hometown kicks off this personal look at his days post-pro and features newly released footage from Quasi’s archive.
In addition to this project, Justin has partnered with Vans to release his take on the Wayvee, which takes cues from deep brown and black earth tones as a nod to his roots skating weather-warped ramps and making every try count. Inspired by Justin’s early influences of vintage sports photography and basketball, the Wayvee is accompanied by a head-to-toe collection that speaks to his unique style. Vans’ Wayvee by Justin Henry collection will be available November 4, 2021.
Growing up skating the crusty spots across his proud home state, Justin’s style is effortless, whether he’s skating impossibly perfect ledges in California or gritty stair sets in NYC. In 2018, Justin earned a part in Quasi’s full-length film Mother and was featured in Thrasher’s Am Scramble video. He followed that up with a part in Quasi’s Grand Prairie after turning pro with them earlier this year. With his powerful style and commitment to supporting the skateboarding community, Justin is poised to do even greater things in the future.
