Vans Releases New Sk8-Hi Styles Ahead of the Holiday Season

Vans continues to honor the legacy of the Sk8-Hi during its golden anniversary year by releasing an updated selection of seasonal styles for men and women. The Sk8-Hi takes on new materializations in an array of colorways adding to the heritage the iconic hi-top style. New iterations of the Sk8-Hi begin releasing this October through the holiday season.
 

With a focus on premium material offerings, the men’s Sk8-Hi assortment includes a premium leather Sk8-Hi Reissue using off-white leather uppers outfitted with a leather Sidestripe and tongue label accents. Constructed using veggie tan uppers, the latest Sk8-Hi Reissue uses natural, full-grain leather in a tan colorway for a monochromatic take on Vans’ original hi-top silhouette. An evolution of the traditional gum sole can be seen on the Vansguard-treated Sk8-Hi Reissue, which showcases an ivy green gum sole for a tonal look for the holiday season. The Sk8-Hi Reissue is finished with Vansguard-treated canvas uppers to help propel water and dirt.
 

Drawing off the monochromatic trend, the women’s Sk8-Hi assortment kicks off with a deluxe iteration of the Sk8-Hi Slim Zip. The hi-top utilizes embossed leather uppers to mimic python skin to add an element of texture. The Sk8-Hi Slim is revamped to include a holographic leather silhouette that when in the sun, gives off a prismatic effect. And in time for the holiday season, Vans will release a holiday-themed Sk8-Hi Reissue inspired by seasonal knit sweaters but with its own ‘Off The Wall’ twist.

New Sk8-Hi styles will be available to shop globally beginning this October and through the holiday season in Vans retail stores and online.
