Pride 2021

Vans recognizes Pride month as an inspiring global moment of self-expression, and proudly celebrates the empowering spirit and identities of the LGBTQIA+ community. Vans is celebrating with a new collection, a storytelling series and work to uplift communities.

As part of this effort, we will be donating $200,000 USD to four organizations from around the world:

GLSEN, working to cultivate a safe and supportive school environment for all students regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or expression.

CASA 1, who seek to promote structural changes by providing safe shelter and access to culture, education and health resources for the LGBTQ+ community.

WHERE LOVE IS ILLEGALa project by Witness Change seeking to use stories to connect people, transform opinions and change policies by capturing personal testimonials of survival from the LGBTQIA+ community.

Vans and Where Love is Illegal will partner with local artists from the LGBTQ+ community to design 45 windows across Europe inspired by the testimonials from the organization.

TOKYO RAINBOW PRIDE, partnering as part of their 2021 “Raise Your Voice. Change The World” digital activation that aims to build awareness and policy change so that all genders, races and beliefs can be equal.

PREVIEW PRIDE STORY CONTENT, starting at the end of May the film series Together As Ourselves will feature 4 ambassadors:

Get Lit poet, Tyris Winter; painter, designer and printmaker, Mich Miller; skateboarder, photographer and creative director, Samuel McGuire; and singer and songwriter, Serena Isioma. Look for more LGBTQ+ storytelling on Vans News and Channel 66

Together As Ourselves storytelling, coming this June.

What would you do with a blank canvas? With no rules, no expectations, no limits. What would you create? Who would you become?

This Pride, Vans is teaming up with LGBTQIA+ creators who embrace the messy process of living in the moment. Those who unapologetically face each day in their own truth, identity, art and expression. Hear their stories, and create your own.
