Hi-Standard OG
New Jake Kuzyk Collection designed through the global team rider’s ultra-curated perspective.
Jake Kuzyk and Vans introduce an updated version of the Hi-Standard OG - the brand’s all time best-selling snowboard boot – and a new collection designed through Jake’s meticulous lens.
Building on Vans’ legacy of classic looks and performance, and the heavily skate-influenced style Jake brings to snowboarding, the Hi-Standard OG Jake Kuzyk boot was inspired by an original Vans colorway that Jake identified while digging through the brand’s archives.
The boot comes equipped with the all-new V1 UltraCush liner for improved comfort and warmth. The innovative V1 POPCUSH features a 3D-molded, anatomical shape footbed, delivering custom-tuned energy return for the highest levels of impact cushioning. The V1 Waffle Lug outsole provides the utmost boardfeel with unrestricted mobility.

Complementing the boot is a minimalistic, street-influenced
collection designed by Jake himself. The signature Kuzyk Shell is
built with a water-resistant DWR coating and welt pockets.
Jake’s collection also includes a Standard Snow boot, an Old Skool Style 36 shoe and a VANS by Smartwool PhD snow sock with Indestructawool™ technology that promises comfort whether you’re hiking handrails in the city, hitting powder kickers in the backcountry or in route from the couch to the kitchen.
As a global team rider, Jake is a key part of the Vans Snow DNA. His creative eye for spots - and deep bag of tricks to bring them to life - earned the Canadian snowboarder the coveted closing part for Vans’ first-ever full-length snowboard film, LANDLINE., a momentous feat of insane riding and innovative filming that captivated the industry. More recently, he followed that up with his part in Vans’ sophomore release, Together Forever, filmed by Tanner Pendleton.
At just 29 years old, Jake has cemented his place among snowboarding’s ranks, with many more years of ripping yet to come. His latest take on Vans’ coveted boot and accompanying apparel collection illustrates Jake’s influence and style, and Vans’ penchant for progression.
