Vans Embarks on a “New Era” with the Latest Boardshort Offering
This Spring, Vans debuts the Era™ Boardshort featuring Vans’ Sturdy Strech fabrication and distinctive prints and colors. The Era™ Boardshort is engineered utilizing critical feedback from Vans’ surf team and is built for all-day surf performance, comfort and durability.
Vans introduces the new silhouette in six prints and colorways just in time for summer. In two colorways, the Decay Palm print, features a 20” outseam and blends a Hawaiian-inspired palm leaf print, honoring Vans’ heritage and the early days of surfing, with stripes for contrast. In addition, the collection features surf icon and Vans athlete, Wade Goodall’s signature style, incorporating original artwork by Wade in shades of blue on the timeless silhouette. The additional styles incorporate vibrant patterns of orange, blue and black with stripe detailing. The Era™ Boardshort is equipped with a back zip pocket for convenient storage and utility, mixed with Vans’ classic California aesthetic.
Striking the perfect balance between stretch and comfort, Vans Sturdy Stretch material utilizes fabrication that performs both in and out of the water. The water-repellent material is made to dry quickly and stretch horizontally versus vertically, allowing mobility without becoming baggy when wet. The long lasting, wearable qualities of Vans’ Study Stretch materials make the Era boardshort an everyday staple that can easily take you from surf to street.
The Era Boardshort is available online and in-stores now.
