Joining forces with Mitch Abshere, owner of Captain Fin Co. and famed maker of fins and surfboards, this latest Vans x Captain Fin collaboration reintroduces the man himself to the Vans Surf family. Off The Wall artwork drawn on custom designed fins have earned Abshere increasing notoriety within the surf community, and the Vans x Captain Fin product selection is here to embrace every aspect of it. With a respected reputation preceding him and a personality hard to ignore, the unique quirks of Abshere pops through materials in his signature anchor logo and green and black color scheme. Fused with the Vans DNA, neon green accents and bright orange logo detailing bring the Captain Fin style to three silhouettes that draw the arch from classic shoes to modern shapes. 

A Classic Slip-On with an unobtrusive checkerboard pattern in black and grey with subtle but effective neon green detail on elastic gore and lining complement the custom Captain Fin artwork on the insole. Turning it up a notch with the benefit of exposed surface, the Lanai sandal features orange logos on strap and heel as well as green and black checkerboard pattering with Captain Fin’s recognizable anchor and palm graphics strewn in between squares. A brand new model, the Costa Mesa, joins the Vans x Captain Fin shoe assortment in all black, tonal from upper to eyelets to laces. Waxed coated twill textiles with a green Captain Fin anchor on the tongue and an ultra-flexible and waste-free gum rubber outsole finish a sophisticated but uncomplicated look.
