The world’s leading BMX park terrain competition returns to Málaga, Spain for the 2018 Vans BMX Pro Cup World Championships this Sunday, September 23. Located alongside Spain’s southern coast is the culturally rich port city of Málaga, home to the world-renowned El Málaga skatepark. Local BMX legend and El Málaga Skatepark designer Rubén Alcántara drew from his passion for surfing when he envisioned the park, offering infinite opportunities for flow and creativity to the globe’s best BMX riders. A fantasy course for any BMX fan, El Málaga Skatepark features more than 10,000 square meters of hips, spines, bowl corners, volcanos, a wave-inspired cradle, a tombstone, box jump options and more.
