Vans BMX Releases Dakota Roche’s “For The Search” Collection

Vans and global BMX team rider Dakota Roche band together to deliver new colorways and collaborative designs for Dakota’s “For The Search” collection. Highlighting his personalized colorway of the Sk8-Hi Pro, Dakota’s latest collection features an assortment of footwear, apparel and accessories that draw inspiration from his endless search for untapped street spots and new territory for his “Off The Wall” riding style.

Dakota’s Sk8-Hi Pro is fabricated in an earthy, covert green suede and canvas upper with tonal laces, solid-black rubber foxing and matching rubber toe-cap detailing. Featuring his personal artwork on the side panel labels, Dakota’s endorsed Sk8-Hi Pro is engineered with Duracap-reinforced underlays and BMX specific medial side support for extra pedal protection on the inner ankle. Equipped with UltraCush HD sockliners and Vans’ original waffle compound outsole to help keep the foot close to the pedal without packing out over time, the Sk8-Hi Pro provides superior high impact cushioning for Dakota’s unhinged riding style.

“My obsession with exploration and adventure has been with me for as long as I can remember, and I am constantly searching for fresh spots to do my thing,” affirms Roche. “It’s tough on my body, but I’m grateful that I have gear I can trust to get through it all.”

Also featured in Dakota’s “For The Search” collection is a marshmallow white suede and canvas Era Pro, built with a durable rubber toe-cap, incorporated for the first time ever on this Pro Classic silhouette. Finishing off Dakota’s “For the Search” collection is an Authentic Chino Stretch pant, a Torrey jacket, one long sleeve and short sleeve tee paired with two snapback hats and a pair of crew socks that features Dakota’s mountain artwork found throughout the collection.
