Paris France – Vans is beyond proud to have officially opened the doors to its new Le Marais store with a high-energy opening party that brought together Paris’ skate, music, art, and creative communities together in an explosion of culture.
Set in the heart of Paris’ most culturally vibrant and dynamic creative neighbourhood, the new Vans Le Marais location underlines Vans’ deep roots in creativity and self-expression. Guests were welcomed into a custom-built immersive space that blends Vans’ heritage with a distinctly Parisian edge, offering a new focal point for the local community.
The store itself became part of the experience, transforming into a collaborative social space both inside and in the outdoor courtyard that echoes Vans’ “Off The Wall” DNA. With custom Californian Sun lighting bringing LA weather to a rainy Parisian evening, the rain did little to dampen the spirits of the community - friends of the brand, creatives, skaters and tastemakers who gathered to mark the occasion of this exciting landmark not just for Vans but for the subcultures that continue to define and shape Vans worldwide.
Emerging artists Emilia Pesty and Jean Ewen crafted unique rings and personalised skate inspired mementos for our guests – leaving a lasting impression, washed down with signature Checkerboard espresso martinis from our friends at renowned Parisian cocktail bar Le Syndicat.
The evening featured a live performance from Oklou, DJ sets from Paris based talent Andy4k, Ey.rah and Kidlohan, setting up the stage for an electric DJ set from Vans ambassador, Little Simz, bringing the heat and a dose of London énergie across the channel to the beating heart of Paris - Le Marais.
To top off proceedings, the next day, Vans Artistic Director SZA hosted a giveaway of her exclusive Vans forthcoming collection which saw queues around the block, descending to shut down Rue de Temple in a kinetic fusion of energy and community.
Vans Le Marais, showcases the latest Vans footwear, apparel, and accessories, while serving as a platform for future community events, collaborations, and cultural happenings. With this opening, Vans reinforces its commitment to Paris’ creative scene and its ongoing mission to support and celebrate individuality, youth culture, and authentic self-expression.
