WHAT IS YOU FAVORITE VANS SHOE?

Vans OTW Alomar

WHAT’S YOUR SET UP?

Vans Infuse boots, Flux SF bindings and Rome MOD board.

WHAT’S THE BEST TRIP YOU’VE EVER BEEN ON?

I went to New Zealand a couple years back with the GoPro crew and we went heli-boarding for a couple days. That was the first time I had ever done that and it was amazing! You get addicted to it right away. Some of the most fun lines and powder I've ever ridden.

WHAT IS THE BEST STORY YOU’VE EVER HEARD?

This one time, at band camp...

FAVORITE VANS RIDER?

Andreas Wiig. I remember watching him when I was younger and wanting to have his exact style.

WHAT TRICK CAN’T YOU DO THAT YOU WISH YOU COULD?

A good handplant. I've never quite figured that one out.

WHAT’S THE WORST THING THAT’S EVER HAPPENED TO YOU?

I would say the time I broke my thumb at the end of the season a couple years back. It doesn't sound that bad but it was on my dominant hand, which was super annoying. I had to have to surgery on it. Then, a couple days after I was cleared by the doctor, I fell mountain biking and broke it again -- which took two more surgeries. During that period, I was also getting married and moving into our new place. So, in total, I had four surgeries and my hand in a cast for five months. It sucked so bad.

WHAT ARE SOME INTERESTS/HOBBIES OUTSIDE OF SNOWBOARDING?

I'm really into mountain biking and golfing.

LAST GOOD BOOK YOU READ?

Man, this is gonna sound bad, but I can't even remember the last time I've read a book. Ha.

FIVE SONGS THAT HAVE TO BE ON A PLAYLIST?

That's hard to pick, but right now I'm really into classic rock. Tom Petty, Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac. That music will make anyone’s day better!
