My son chose these shoes due to comfort. The "comfort band" around the ankle really makes this a shoe that is comfortable to be in all day. He has other Vans shoes that are just the plain canvas with no "band" and his heels do get sore after a few hours.

I bought 2 pairs this month one was custom and the other wad the MKZ's. I am very happy I don't have to wait 5-7 weeks any more for the custom...the mkz's in all white I can get them in 2 weeks!
