Great look but wet socks...

I really love the look of these shoes and needed something for rain. I was really disappointed to find out that the shoes are not quick waterproof which after some discussion with a store associate I was convinced and made the purchase. Water came in through the tongue and my socks got wet on a night with a decent amount of rain. Disappointed because these look great, feel great and the bottom is not slippery..but my socks are wet. Maybe I'll purchase a waterproofing spray but I think the point of buying these b/c I had hoped it would keep my feet dry (and looking great) on a normal rainy day. If this doesn't bother you so much at least you know you have a comfortable and warm boot.

Really disappointed. These are really comfortable and look great, but first time wearing them in light rain and less than an inch of snow and my socks were wet. I could have worn regular sneakers and my feet would have been dry. Don't really understand why you would advertise a product as weatherproof when they're in fact the opposite.

I WORE THEM FOR THE 1ST TIME TODAY,DEC. 22,AND I WAS DISAPPOINTED.THERE WAS A STEADY ( BUT NOT HEAVY ) RAIN OUTSIDE.I FELT VERY LITTLE SUPPORT IN THEM WHEN I WALKED OUTSIDE.I ALSO FELT THAT THEY SLIPPED WHEN I CAME IN CONTACT WITH RUBBER & METAL SURFACES.LASTLY,& MOST IMPORTANT,MY SOCKS WERE WET NEAR MY TOES WHEN I REMOVED THEM.NOT VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE CONSIDERING THE COST.

Super impressed, they look better in person (black on black). The suede upper really sets them off. Broke these out for the first time yesterday for a rainy day. I don't purposely walk through puddles when I see one... but I felt comfortable stepping in one with these on. Speaking of comfort, these are the most comfy vans I own, for sure.

I wish there was a warranty for these... If there is I apologize for the review, because I love these shoes. Except for the fact that
I've worn them a handful of times doing very light activity, like walking and the rubber sealing on the edging of my right shoe is peeling off. Not sure how weather resistint they'll be now... I'm going to contact the store to see if they'll replace them because I really do love the shoe. Very comfortable and stylish enough you could dress them
Up and not worry about the rain ruining them.
