Favorite pair of shoes I've ever owned. Ive been skating these and wearing them around casually for a few weeks now and couldnt be more stoked on them. I Love the Vans Old School look with modern highlights in just the right places. They're tougher and the added support in the sole makes a difference. They stick to my deck like super glue and the board-feel is right on. I've owned quite a few different vans over the past years and these are at the top of the list. My feet never hurt in these whether skating or walking around and they look rad. Solid buy. The only way you'll go wrong is if you don't buy a pair.

i was hoping for more. Vans keeps discontinuing the shoes i like. The last shoe was the johnny layton. and before that was the vegan version of the rowleys -- the new rowleys are too narrow. The style continues the trend to make all vans look generic. The are all starting to look like the vans era - which looks like every other $20 canvas shoe. All the nicer design details are being removed. Example, this shoe fits, isn't uncomfortable, but is slightly weird because the toe cap goes too far up your foot. Actually, it wraps fully around your foot, which i don't like at all visually. The Old skool's toe cap isn't that much different but lets the shoe bend better.I think there was a "pro" version of the old skool's. I would get those but, i think they were also discontinued. The fit is slightly off because how the shoe bends. It has more padding than the standard old skool (which hurts my feet due to lack of padding) but not as nice as the Johnny Layton shoes they are replacing. The look isn't really what i wanted, but isn't as bad as some of the other new designs.

Great shoe by TNT again. Shoe is a little narrow but feel fine, may want to get a size larger. They have excellent grip. Liking the gray bottoms, do not get dirty looking as fast as white does.

While these are still shiny and new, I'm wearing them to work and school. I get tons of complements on the bright mustard yellow color. When summer comes I'll use them with my flats mountain biking. These are a lot lighter than the Vans I've had in the past so that's good too.

I bought these sneakers, in navy blue, to cruise around campus. More padding than your average pair of Vans. They look great too. After a couple of weeks they've been easy to keep clean and overall they are great pair of shoes.

these shoes are amazing for skating transition, they are the perfect bowl skating shoe with one downside. they fall apart fast. but they are worth a try if looking for a new shoe to skate transition in.
