I really liked these shoes, except for the fact that THEY DIDN'T HAVE MY SIZE. GIRLS SKATEBOARD, TOO. These are really nice shoes, and I loved them. Except for the fact that I had to go up half a size because they don't think girls where them, so they only offer an 8 or higher for women. Just one size smaller and they would fit me PERFECTLY. YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THAT TONS OF SKATER GIRLS WOULD LOVE TO WEAR THESE KINDS OF SHOES, EXCEPT YOU DON'T OFFER OUR SIZE. Please consider having size 7s in womens for more of your skate shoes. Otherwise, the fit and look is great. Very durable. Will probably buy these again.

I am a moderately aggressive skater. I don't skate too often, nor skate that hard. These shoes came apart very quickly. The side of the shoe has holes from ollies, and the toe is shredding. The grip on these shoes is quite good, but they just wear too fast. I will warn you, if you are an aggressive skater, do not get the denim ones. They last mere hours. Next time, I definetly will not buy the denim shoes. Also, there is very little impact protection. landing flat after a drop really hurts you're feet in these shoes. I would imagine these shoes would be good for casual wearers and longboarders, but not street skaters.

        Comments about Chukka Low:

The shoes are very comfortable and the UltraCush HD is very nice. I use these shoes for school and riding my Penny Board and have noticed no wear on the outside except the waffle sole is wearing a little. The only problem I've had is the Fair Isle Port ones wear on the tribal pattern on the inside and the shoe is slightly smaller in the toe area (compared to a Atwood shoe)

                  Comments about Vans Chukka Low:

The show looks good and feels good. It lasts. I've worn it for a year. I wear it casually, not for skateboarding. I have some $500 sneakers that are great, but these can't be beat for the price. Take care of them and they look great and last a long time. What more do you need to know? They're a little slippery on wet pavement. No big deal. Vans needs to make a higher end shoe, something more than the OTW, Cali, etc. People would buy it. Whatever. These are excellent, stylish shoes.

I've skated 2 pairs of chukkas, the only thing i didn't like was how easily it tore, but it was nothing shoe goo couldn't fix. The toe on the shoe it roomy, yet pointy which I love, and the shoe is very flexible and quick to break in.

I bought a pair of vans for walking maybe ten years ago, and they lasted until just recently. i bought a new pair a month ago. the inside lining immediately tore out. then the fabric seperated from the sole after a few days. i dont know what theyre doing differently, but for some reason my old pair never had that problem. a few weeks later the heel seperated from the material. so i have slippers now. such garbage.
