Vans Moto Team Scores Two First Place Podiums

Vans Moto Athlete Ryan Villopoto takes the win in San Diego, CA this past Saturday night and cruises into next weekends race with the red number plate once again with a six point lead over second place in the Monster Energy AMA/FIM Supercross Series! In the West Coast 250 class, Vans Monster Energy Pro Circuit athlete Dean Wilson took the win and the points lead back!
RV said he really enjoyed the track this weekend like many other riders but the start is where it is at. He got a great jump off the line and found himself in second place as they rounded the first turn, by the second corner Ryan lead 18 of 20 laps. Lap 18 Chad Reed made a pass on RV for the lead, RV made his move right away for a clean pass on Reed on the last lap for the checkered flag.
Dean Wilson was on fire all day with the fastest lap times and smooth flowing style. Dean said this was the break he was looking for and really had a awesome time with the track setup for this weekend in San Diego!
