Phranc is the self described All American Jewish lesbian folk singer. As a kid she was the keyboard player of 'Catholic Discipline' who were featured in the seminal punk rock documentary “The Decline of Western Civilization” Later after focusing more on folk music Phranc was the opening act The Pouges and for the Smiths on their last tours ever. She has been deeply involved with LA art and music scene dating back to the late 70's. She has also always rode a 60's longboard and had a reverence for classic surf culture, putting out a surf album on the Kill Rock Stars label called 'Goofy Foot'!
