Lil Wayne decided to fit The Block into his late night skate park tour last week. A few lucky Vans employees hung around till 3am so they could shred with Weezy. Scope the story below and check out the pics...Weezy has skills!

Last night I received a phone call from Lil Wayne's skate coach saying "tonight was the night for some shredding!". After a few tries failed attempts to get Lil Wayne here for a late night session, his coach assured me that tonight it was going down...... at 3:00am. Lil Wayne and his entourage arrived at the park with their game faces on ready to skate. Let me tell you this man has some skills, only been skating for 4 months and was throwing down some great mini ramp tricks! Rock Fakies, Back Disaster Reverts, Rock & Roll, 360 Pivot's on the quarter pipe, even hitting our huge bank to bank wall first try. Then all of a sudden we heard "QUARTER PIPE!". At first I didn't understand why everyone was yelling quarter pipe to each other, that's when I saw two huge men pull up and a SUV and unload Lil Wayne's personal quarter pipe. You know someone is heavy in the skate scene when they bring their own quarter pipe with them where every they go. He invited us to session his ramp with him and to cap off the night he asked us to sign it with sharpie. What an honor the night was to not only skate with Lil Wayne and his close family and friends but then be able to live on as one of his memories by signing his personal ramp. We all called it a wrap at 6:30am!
