Villopoto Takes Overall in SLC and Weimer Back on the Bike

Vans Monster Energy Kawasaki athlete Ryan Villopoto takes the top spot on the podium in Salt Lake City this past Saturday night! With all the snow flurries this past weekend at the stadium you would have thought that there was going to be a snowmobile race instead of a supercross race. Despite the cold conditions, Villopoto brought the heat by taking the overall podium and adding a nine point lead advantage over second place. Ryan is really excited to get things rolling for the final round in Las Vegas this weekend! Vans Monster Energy Kawasaki Athlete Jake Weimer returned to racing this past weekend in Salt Lake City! After getting the nerves out in first and second practice Weimer started to settle back into race mode, Jake has not lined up for over nine months and had never raced in the pro class aboard a 450.. Will all consider Jake rode excellent finishing in seventh position for his first 450 race is a huge accomplishment! Weimer is looking forward to moving forward as he races the final supercross round in Las Vegas, NV.
