Vans x Jesse Jo Launch Party at the Troubadour

Vans celebrated the launch of our newest women's collaboration on Tuesday, March 29th with young designer and singer Jesse Jo Stark, at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, Calif. The event spotlighted Vans x Jesse Jo footwear, apparel and accessories constructed with Jesse Jo's DIY skills. The party theme reflected the collection's inspiration of Americana and rock-n-roll. The event kicked off with those American staples - grilled cheese sandwiches and tater tots provided by The Grilled Cheese Truck along with music by DJ Grant and the opening act, the Stripminers headed by the Donnas' Brett Anderson.
The special performance came from headliner band, Jesse Guns N' Jones', entertaining guests with some serious rock-n-roll. Jesse Jo lead the band with vocals belting out classics like "Cherry Bomb" and "Rebel Girl" and with support by bass player Duff McKagen of Guns N' Roses' and guitar by Steve Jones of Sex Pistols fame, the performance was a hit. Standing ovations came from the full capacity crowd and special friends Nicole Richie and husband Joel Madden, Cher and Shanea Grimes of 90210. The night closed with a bang as party-goers danced to the musical blend of DJ Samantha Ronson.
