This month we kicked it with the high fliers and gave them an obstacle they could kill. That's right, this month's obstacle was the main street course launch ramp! With a range in age from 8 to 20, we had a wide display of talent go off tonight. As the music started rocking, so did the skaters...right off the bat local Chris Kozma throws a huge backside 360 mute grab and clears the whole pyramid first try! Chris also performed a stunt like no other, he did a backside 180 melon over the second pyramid and even cleared the rail! Huge credit thrown out to Chris for killing it! Next local shredder is Jonas Paveo...Jonas gets the award for the most style. Tweaking his stalefish and melon grabs so much that he didn't look like he was going to land any of them. Keep up the hard work in the off season, dude. So flying in next we have Ashton Dohany, Ashton said he wasn't going to enter this contest, but he did and without a doubt he killed it. Ashton landed a perfect kickflip indy over the box and a variel. Ashton is a well known local who definitely kept the pace of this contest going. So boiling down to the last killer tricks we had Brandon Shook come into the mix and at the last minute threw a backflip! So gnarly and so perfect. Again, this contest was so sick you might be thinking to yourself, "Who is left to win?" Well with out a doubt my main man Anthony Benante came through with an explosive performance. Anthony tried it all contest long but got it in the last couple of minutes. A finger flip indy! He was so stoked and we were stoked for him. Congrats to this month's best trick winner, Anthony Benante! Everyone killed it and put on an awesome show. Next month's best trick is on the Main Street course Manuel Pad. I'm calling out all of my tech skaters to get in on this piece of pie. So come one, come all...from everyone big and small...to a spectacular event that will lead us into the fall. See you guys next month!

Today's best trick contest took place on the bank to flat by the four stair. We had eight riders in the show up to shred in the contest. To get things started, Alex Tennison came out swinging on a backside 360 attempt...he came oh so close but never landed it. Eric Sheppard brought a tweaked out melon grab to the table and a lofty crail grab. First time rider to Vans Skatepark, Braden Duke landed an indy grab. The rest of the contest was left up to the Drysen brothers. Justin Drysen landed nine, yes count them 9, tricks (nollie 360, alleyoop backside 360, switch heelflip, alleyoop backside bigspin, alleyoop backside flip, nollie frontside bigspin, nollie frontside heelflip, and nollie kickflip). Chris Drysen, the younger of the Drysen brothers, successfully landed two tricks..an ollie north and a 360 frontside shuv-it. Although Justin landed way more tricks, Chris Drysen took home the gold with his "very rarely seen" 360 frontside shuv-it! Make sure and stop by next month for your chance to win!
