Viewing Parties at Vans Skateparks in Orange & Orlando and at Satellite Boardshop's Reunion Sale in Boulder, CO Vans Skateparks in Orange, CA and Orlando, FL will be projecting the live webcast on September 26 from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm PST. There will be giveaways from Vans and Rockstar, plus extended hours for skating in Orlando. Satellite Boardshop in Boulder, CO will also be hosting a viewing along with their annual Reunion Sale going down at 9th and Pearl Street, so if you are in the area be sure to drop by. Join us to see top pros and ams vie for their piece of $85,000, as the 5th Annual Vans Downtown Showdown presented by Rockstar Energy Drink invades Paramount Studios' Back Lot. With top skateboard companies and their riders submitting design ideas for one of four custom obstacles to be built against the Brooklyn brownstone movie set, the Vans Downtown Showdown is always one of the most unique contests of the year.
Who: The top teams in skateboarding including Girl, Flip, Blind, Creature, Black Label, Foundation, Toy Machine, SK8MAFIA and Zoo York
What: Each team will session four unique, custom-made obstacles in a round-robin format with awards going out for top team, best pro, top am and best performance by obstacle.
When: Saturday, September 26 at 5 pm (doors open at 4 pm)
Where: Paramount Studios Back Lot
Prize Purse: $85,000 in cash and prizes for individual and team winners
