Championship In Sight For Villopoto

The 2008 AMA Motocross Championship series prepares for round number 10 of action in Millville, Minnesota, this coming weekend after a two-week break from action. With a 109-point lead in the Lites class series, defending champion Ryan Villopoto looks to wrap up the championship early in Minnesota. "I'm really looking forward to Millville," Ryan told us. "If everything goes as planned, I should be able to wrap up the title with two full rounds still to go. It will be really nice to finish up the season without the stress of the title still lingering." With such a massive points lead, Villopoto only needs to finish somewhere in the top-five to clinch his third-straight outdoor motocross title. Stay tuned for the official results!
