Stroupe & Villopoto Finish First and Second At Glen Helen!

In the first of two 30-minute plus two laps motos of the day, Stroupe rode like a man possessed, coming from behind and passing teammate Brett Metcalfe at the end to finish in the second spot - just one second behind the moto winner. In the second and final moto of the day, it was Villopoto's time to shine, as the defending National champion charged to the lead by lap number six, motoring on to a convincing win by the wave of the checkers! When all was said and done and the points were tallied, it was Stroupe with 2-3 moto finishes who brought home the first overall win of the series. Villopoto's 5-1 earned him second overall on the day, and Metcalfe turned in an impressive 3-4 for fifth overall.
