Mercier has been skating for over 22 years, has been pro for the last 10, and was ranked as high as 21st in the world in 2001. In addition to being the core marketing person for Vans in Canada, Mercier also has his own skateboard company, Mercanary Intelligence. Mercier has been very active in the skate scene across Canada, helping design local skateparks, and organizing numerous skate events including the Backyard Pool Party in South Parc and the Red Bull Combat skate event. Look for Eric to continue charging for Vans in Canada and possibly squeeze in another few covers!
